Missing Format Icons

Could someone remind me how I get back the icons for the various formats (IE DVD, Blu Ray, Video etc) all I have now is a Blue Folder???

Due to a problem with my laptop I had to download my collection from the cloud and thats when I noticed it. Currently looks like this

Any help would be appreciated!!!

PS the format type is in each in each record like this

Looks like your list item images have been moved to a new location, or they didn’t install correctly.

Solution 1: Update File Links

Try solving it by Updating your File Links, perhaps the paths to the images are missing. Use this manual:

Solution 2: Set the List Images Folder correctly

First, make sure your List Images Folder has been set correctly. If you have recently switched computers, this is very likely to be the cause of your problem. Here’s how you do that:

Go to “Tools > Options” and click the “Folders” option on the left hand side. Under “List Item Images Folder” (the third block) hit BROWSE, and make sure it points to the correct folder (please do check your actual folder to see if the List Item Images are actually present on that exact location on your computer!). You might need to restart your program after changing this setting.

Solution 3: Re-install

Can you check if they did actually install for you? You might want to try a fresh install. You can download your latest version from your My CLZ page here:

A fresh install will add the format icons back to where they should’ve been in the first place.

Solution 4: Add them yourself

Last resort if the above 3 solutions don’t work:
If a fresh install doesn’t work either, here’s instructions on how to manually link them (and where to find the icons). The instructions are on how to get the 4K UHD icon, but will work roughly the same for all other formats!

  1. Click “Edit” from the top menu, and then “Manage Pick Lists”.

  2. Find “Format” in the left-hand panel. Click it.

  3. You now see the list of formats on the right-hand panel. Find “4K UHD” there, right click it and select “EDIT”.

  4. Under “image” click on Browse.

  5. Go to your Documents > Movie Collector > Images > Listitemimages folder.

  6. Find: uhdbluray-16x16.png and click on “open”.

  7. Under “Template Image” click Browse and find “uhdbluray.png”

  8. Click OK and close the Edit List screen.

Your movies will now automatically get the 4K UHD icon (if they actually have “4K UHD” set as their format of course).

Now repeat the above 8 steps for all format-icons you wish to have.
