I largely agree with you. The comic even identifies itself as “DUNGEON CRAWLER CARL, SPECIAL EDITION ISSUE #0 - JULY, 2026” on its interior credit page.
It should definitely be kept with its first printing, though. So I’d further suggest moving the following variants from Free Comic Book Day 2026 (Dungeon Crawler Carl) to Dungeon Crawler Carl: Special Edition
#0B - Nathan Gooden Exclusive Homage Variant (Ltd. 6000)
#0C - Shea Hardacre Exclusive Variant (Ltd. 2000)
#0F - Scott Prather Exclusive Variant
#0G - Scott Prather Exclusive Virgin Variant
#0H - Brian Denham Exclusive Variant
#0I - Brett Bean Exclusive Variant
#0J - Brett Bean Exclusive Foil Variant
#0K - Keven Mallqui Exclusive Variant
Unless these have a different interior credit page (I do not have any of these in hand to check.)
That would leave only the Yoshi Toshitani variants (#0D and #0E) with the FCBD dressed Regular cover.
A “special edition” is the term for a reprint without calling it a reprint. I’ll look into these!

@MadCrab which one is your photo? The FCBD or the regular released one from last week?
The previous post with interior credits was the second printing from Revenge Of (shipped just this week,) with the green cover.
The only other variant I own is the first printing from Revenge Of (#0C, red cover), so I opened it to the front credits, also. To my surprise, this one identifies as “DUNGEON CRAWLER CARL, ISSUE #0, FCBD EDITION - MAY 2026”
So that’s fun. I guess the two printings should be in separate series? Weird one, so I’ll leave that to you!

All should be in both series correctly now. The barcode on the back was a big helping factor.
