I don’t use all the tabs in CLZ Books Web. Is it possible to have the ability to move the most used tabs together instead of scrolling to get to some? If it is not possible now, maybe this could be a suggestion for the future.
It is not possible right now, but this is on our ideas list.
Can you let me know which ones you use/don’t use, what your preferred order of edit screen tabs would be?
If I was going to reorder the tabs, it would go: Main, Personal, Cover, Plot, Value, Read History.
I have not used the Custom Fields yet, but I would probably put that next. Details is very rarely used. Credits is not important to me. Hope that helps.
Yeah it does, it’s interesting for us to see (your order is different than others, but that is to be expected of course). Thank you for sharing!
If changing the order of the tabs isn’t feasible, is it possible for the size of the edit window to be adjusted to encompass all current tabs?
It seems a small thing, but when you’re going through your entire library and updating links (which are an awesome addition, BTW), it’s a real pain to have to click back and forth between tabs.
If I were to reorder the tabs it would be Main, Personal, Value, Cover, Plot. I do use Read History but find it annoying because it isn’t always accurate as it jumps a day ahead.
Can you provide a step by step, or screenshots on how I can reproduce this? That seems like a big bug
Just to let you all know, we’ve started the project for CLZ Web:
- making the edit screen bigger
- allowing the user to drag tabs in the edit screen to their favorite position, and it will remember it for your next edit session.
No ETA at the moment, but we are doing this ![]()
Say I finished a book last night (May 11th) and enter the Read History this morning (May 6 - May 11th). However BC, retains the May 12th as the final day the book was read, not May 11th.
Can you let me know what timezone you are in, and around what time you set this read history end date? I will take a look into your account (also let me know which book you tried this on that is currently showing wrong please)
PST 8:22 am today on the title Detective Aunty I finished reading it yesterday 5/12/2026
Thank you!
Hm when I check your account in CLZ Books Web, and I click the menu top left, and go to Settings, it shows me the timezone is London.
Could you try setting that to your city/timezone and see if the problem still happens?
I reset the timezone and the date was adjusted to the correct read date. Thank you.

The new version is now live which allows you to move tabs around, and the edit screen is just wider as well.
Can you all try it out please, and let me know what you think?
This is great .. being able to shift the tabs to wherever you want them. Just a few comments, though. The Read History tab appears to have disappeared!!! Also, I have a 27” screen with the web page maximised. When I look at the covers tab, the page takes up almost the full height of the screen, and the cover image in most cases is much larger (“in your face”) than before the change. Not a very big problem, but is it possible to do something about that?
Cool! Good to hear you’re
Looks like a bug indeed. We’re fixing it right now.
It’s basing it on the “width” of the edit screen, and then indeed it will grow higher.
It might take getting used to (there’s nothing you can do about it right now), but I will keep an eye out for other emails about this.
This has now been fixed!
I love it, especially now that the Read History tab has been fixed. I think it is funny that the one tab I didn’t think I would miss, I missed!
I love the ease of rearrange the tabs and how they stay in place for the next book. Thank you.
Thank you so very much. This will make my editing so much easier. I agree with berend about the covers tab. It does take up so much of the screen before you can see that change button. That’s my only issue so far.
This is so great, thank you!
I especially love being able to move the tabs around. This is going to make those big projects so much easier.
This product and it’s team continue to impress me.![]()
