Multiple artists not importing correctly

I was not crazy about artists coming in grouped together, e.g., “Joe Blow; John Doe; Jane Roe.” But now it seems the first-named artists are not coming in. For example, with the fictional group cited, the only artis that comes in is frequently the last-named artist, e.g., Jane Roe rather than all three or only the first-named artist Joe Blow. Is there any way to fix this?

Is this general or only for the desktop software?

I’m sorry to say I don’t quite understand.

What exactly are you seeing? Can you post a screenshot, and examples?

I have uploaded “Jazz Reunion” by Pee Wee Russell and Coleman Hawkins. Pee Wee Russell is not listed as a main artist.
I have also uploaded Blowin’ My Blues Away by Billy Bizor. Lightning Hopkins gets an “also featuring” credit. Your system includes Hopkins as an artist, but not Bizor. If there are multiple artists, it is common for the system to include the last-named artist only.

This can be edited, but it is annoying that the information is not correct to begin with.

By the above, I meant multiple artists used to come in as a single group entry with the names separated by by semicolons. Now, the leading artists are dropped, and only the final named artist is imported.

Hi Thomas,

This has now been fixed, so for albums that show as multi-artist albums in the list, it will add them again like it did in the past.

If you see albums in the ADD screen where it is wrong: those should be fixed within 30 days from now.

My apologies for any inconvenience caused!
