I have one list of comics for my personal collection and I want to create a list for the comics I plan on selling- can I create two separate databases in the mobile app or on the web?

In app, Manage Collections then New Collection
John is correct, that is the way to add multiple collections (works in both Mobile and Web versions).
Alternatively:
You could also just set the comics collection statuses to “for sale” for the ones you’re planning on selling.
With the collection status filter, top right (button shaped like a funnel), you can view just your “for sale” comics, or just your “in collection” comics!
