Multiple database's

Have just switched to Web from Desktop, upon transferring to Web we can only transfer one database over (sons books) partners books won’t and still asks me to update service plan. Suggestions anyone.

I don’t want to have to renter all the books mine and partners.

You can only sync 1 .bkc file from Desktop with Web.

What should’ve been done was to “merge” those files into 1 file, and then sync to Web to go there.

What to do:

  • Do you still have the desktop version installed? If so, good.
  • Open your .bkc file
  • Use File > Import from > Other Database to import other database files into one master database, as separate collections. You will get a popup asking you if you wish to import the database as a separate collection.

Now sync with CLZ Cloud to upload all those books to your Web version.

That should be it. Let me know if you need further help with that (or anything else),

Thanks for the help but still having issue in that the service plan expired, so won’t let me sync to web. Looks like starting from scratch.

I’ve extended your Book Collector subscription till 1 december of this year.

You should now be able to follow my steps if you like to try?

Happy to hear that worked! I’ve now disabled the Windows subscription again.
