Music collector Windows: cover images, optimal size

Since I have a lot of CDs and vinyl, of which there are hardly any or no pictures on the Internet, I create the cover pictures with Photoshop.
Some of the covers are very blurred in the program. What is the optimum size, in pixels and what resolution (pixels/inch) is recommended?

Thanks in advance!
Bernd Heinrich

I’d try 800 width (maybe 1000, but in that region) and 120 pixels /inch

If you go HUGE, then the legacy Windows version will indeed render it a bit blurry. It’s a setback of the “internet explorer” rendering stuff it uses. No workaround for that.

Hope that helps

Thank you very much! I’ll give it a try.
I assume that the display is better if I go to the latest version?

@BerndHeinrich, the latest (and likely last ever) version of the Windows software is version 23.1 build 1 from around Mar 30, 2023. Why would you stay on an older version when it’s usually super easy to upgrade?

@CLZ_AJ
I have now created several files according to your recommendation.
In my old version (19.3.1) I see no real improvement.
Let’s see what it will look like when I update.
