OneDrive Woes: Book, Movie and Music Collections

Hi Everyone, hoping you can help me. I’m new to Club CLZ but not new to CLZ/Collectorz. I’ve never had an issue with the applications! And the issue isn’t the application now, but I could really use some geeky assistance as I’m not a geek! Please be gentle with the geek-speak though.

A few days ago I activated a OneDrive account on my android phone and (stupidly as it turns out!) went with the default settings of connecting it to everything. I didn’t really realise the implications and was confused at first as to why the covers of books, DVDs and CDs were appearing in my OneDrive Gallery. So (more stupidly!) I deleted them only then to discover that the covers were no longer appearing in my collections. So I have restored them and all is well.

However, I do not want any part of my collections accessible through OneDrive; I’d like them back where they were which would have been on my C:\Drive. I’ve tried moving the folders from OneDrive\Documents to the direct C:\Drive\Documents to no avail; the collection disappeared from the app and the ‘Update File Links’ didn’t reflect any broken links likely because there were no entries displayed. So clearly I’ve missed an integral part.

I’d be most grateful for layman’s terms assistance please! Thank you

Hello, wondering if anyone out there can assist with this?? The issue remains extant. Would appreciate any assistance!

It has been my experience that once OneDrive has been allowed to look at files it does not like to let them go.

I use OneDrive as cloud backup but my files, specifically Music Collector, while backed up are only accessible from my desktop. I don’t use OneDrive on my phone choosing to use CLZ Music.

I learned, the hard way, that I needed to uninstall OneDrive, restart the computer, and only allow OneDrive to backup my documents. Even though I have images in my Music Collector folders, they don’t show up in my OneDrive gallery.

This isn’t much, only my experience. I hope I helps.

Many thanks  I appreciate you taking the time to reply.

Just to close the loop on this one, I ‘resolved’ this issue by uninstalling all three databases and re-installing on my laptop. The cover images/thumbnails still seem to be saved to my laptop OneDrive but in the Documents folder, not the Pictures folder. As such, they don’t appear when I view OneDrive on my phone.
