I have transferred my music files to my new Windows 11 computer, but not when I try to play them through Music collector I am getting a message that I don’t have permission. I can play them using the same media player directly but not through Music Collector. I had no issues with my old computer.
Sounds like the program doesn’t get enough rights from Windows open a shortcut to the music file / or if it is about playing an entire album, not enough rights to create a playlist file in Documents. A fix could be to install and start the program as “Admin”.
Download the latest version of the software again from your CLZ Account page and be sure to save the installer. Download it here:
Find your version, download it to your desktop.
Right click on the downloaded installer, and select ‘Run as Administrator’
This will install the program with Administrative rights
Now launch the program with admin rights (right click > run as administrator)
