Print/Export Fields

Is there anyway to export or print the “Location” field. I don’t see anyway to add it.

There are some other fields under credits that I don’t see anyway to add to the columns or print.

  • When you’re in the export screen (Print to PDF or Export to TXT/CSV), look TOP RIGHT of the screen, you should see something like “Visible Columns”

  • Click Manage

  • Now modify the field set and include Location, and whatever else you want. Remove stuff you don’t want.

  • Save it

  • Now export and the Location field should be exported along with whatever else you chose!

Yea, I found it and was just getting ready to reply. It is not under the same place I thought it should be.

Is there anyway to specify how or where to import certain fields? I imported some books from BookCat and there were a lot things that I thought it should have imported.

The BookCat import is a specific import, you don’t tell it which fields to import or to not import. We try to import as many as possible.

How long ago did you import (importing them again after a long time would just reset your entire database - but it will give the same result as the import has not changed.

Could you specify which fields you expected to import?
(it might be useful to also see your BookCat export file if you need me to deepdive into this).

(are you using the software or merely transfering from BookCat, to us, and then export to a CSV/PDF file?)
