Sorry, probably has been asked before but could not find. Is there a way to print labels from the CLZ program for comics in my collection?
Not directly within the program.
However, you could create a template in Word and use Mail Merge to merge that template with your Excel file.
To export your collection to Excel, use the export tool in your Cloud (see Export to Text / CSV - CLZ Comics Mobile - 1 for instructions) or the export function in CLZ Web ( Exporting to a text file - CLZ Comics Web - 1 ).
The benefit of this is that you get to determine what fields to include, the size of the labels, the layout, etc.
Ok thanks. I’ll give it a try. Any plans in the near future to make this a function in the app with ability to choose fields?
You’d have to wait for a member of the CLZ team to weigh in.
For the record, I believe everyone who works for the company has their forum name starting with CLZ_xxx. Anyone who doesn’t is just a (hopefully) friendly person who butts in on occasion… ![]()
What kind of label would you like to print exactly? Like avery labels?
Or just something to print out to put on a storage box?
To answer your plans: we currently do not have plans to make a template for printing labels. I don’t see the question come in a lot either.
But @Reinharc 's workaround/solution would likely be the way to go.
Thanks
Thanks, yes like an Avery label for the comic with my grade assignment and key info. I’ll try the work around. Thanks.
