Good evening!

I’ve noticed another small issue with the iOS version of CLZ Books Mobile, when recording Read History.

I don’t want to use ‘Me’ as the reader so I’ve created a reader ‘Chris’, set that as the default reader and deleted ‘Me’ as a reader.

But every time I close the app and later reopen it, it’s recreated the ‘Me’ reader and set it back to being the default reader.

I’ve checked and this isn’t happening on the Android version, just the iOS version.

Hi bookzombie,

There seems to me a small issue involving the reader in the app. You should be able to work around this:

  1. Open the settings screen in CLZ Books
  2. Scroll down to the “When adding a new Read Event”-section
  3. Enable the toggle to the right of “Set reader to:”
  4. Tap “Set reader to:” and set it to “Chris”

Does this solve the problem?

Yes, this does work around the issue, but I have to re-do that every time the app closes and is reopened.

Upon further inspection we found that this small issue was bigger than we thought. We identified the cause and the problem will be fixed in the next version of CLZ Books.
