This may have been brought up before, but should Voltron #1 1985, first appearance of Voltron in US comics, be a Gold Key?
I’d say so. It’s contemporaries are, Transformers #1, G.I. Joe #, Aliens #1, Predator #1 and a host of others, many of lesser notoriety even.

Hi there, you know..this one is tough. In my opinion Voltron isn’t there, it doesn’t hold up next to Transformers, G.I. Joe and all the others you mentioned. I’ve owned this book a few years ago and I really enjoyed all of the animated series (looking forward to the live action). This book is still fairly cheap (which reflects its popularity). Don’t think it earns the recognition of being a major key book. Feel free to change it in your own database if you disagree though 
I like My stats to reflect what is in the actual database so I definitely won’t be changing it.
As far as popularity I’d say it’s debatable. I think it’s lack of exposure contributes to it’s low price, as well as a few other factors. The live action may change all of that. Provided it’s a good movie.
