For the last several months, when I add a Spawn book to my collection, the books aren’t added to the correct series. They are getting added to the “Spawn 30th Anniversary Edition” series instead.

That sounds like at some point you may have moved/redirected one of your Spawn books into the other series.
Looking for “Spawn 30th anniversary edition” in Core I can not fnd that series - did you create it/rename it yourself?
If you created it yourself by renaming a series, it will have kept the other Series ID. Meaning that if you search another Spawn book that has that Series ID, it will assume you want it into your renamed series (that kept the same Series ID).
But you may have the other series as well, resulting in double Series ID, meaning the app will just select the first series ID in your collection, matching the issue’s series ID that you’re trying to add.
This could solve it:
- Open the menu top left
- Go to Manage Pick Lists
- Find “Spawn 30th anniversary edition”
- Remove the CLZ Series ID
- Save it
Now try adding the normal Spawn book from Core again.
Hmmmm… I don’t remember creating that series myself, but I suppose it’s a possibility. When I followed your directions, the 30th Anniversary Edition series had the Series ID of 9627. The Spawn series didn’t have an ID at all. So, I put 9627 as the Spawn series ID and it works as it should now.
Not sure how it happened, but as long as it’s working, I’m happy. Thanks for your help!
Alright good to hear that. I recommend removing that ID from the anniversary one though!
9627 is indeed the ID for our regular Spawn series in Core.
Sorry, I should have put that in my post. I removed the ID from the 30th Anniversary Edition series and put it into the Spawn series.
