When I try to sync my desktop software to the Web software I get the error message: “Server Error - Sending Data - Parsing Response”. It seems to get stuck uploading a cover from one of my newly added movies. Can someone help?
We’ve seen this in the past on the old Windows versions with corrupted image files!
Could you find the movie where this problem is happening (look it up from the sync log you see when you sync), and edit it. Then remove the cover. Then save it.
- Then try to sync to see if it goes through?
If it goes through, edit it again, and try adding a different cover, then save it, then sync.
Then of course add your own cover see if it works (or re-save your cover with an image editing program, maybe with a different filetype and then try it?)
I am using Windows 11 but it seemed to be just what you said. I removed the image and it synced. Then I added a new image and it worked so the original image must have been corrupted.

With the old Windows version I actually meant Movie Collector for Windows, in that we don’t develop it anymore. Sorry for the confusion!
