Plot:
When the Junior Rangers join Smokey Bear and fire ecologist Dr. Elena Reyes for a day at Pine Ridge National Forest, they expect a fun outdoor lesson—but they soon discover that understanding fire can be the key to stopping disaster before it starts. As Maria, Lily, Jake, and Ben use real tools to measure heat, wind, dryness, and fuel, they learn the science behind wildfire danger and put their new knowledge to the test when they encounter campers about to light a fire on a high-risk day.
Blending adventure, teamwork, and easy-to-understand science, this educational comic follows Smokey and his young friends as they prove that smart choices, careful observation, and a little courage can help protect the forest for everyone.
