[Solved] Sync Issue Bug?

I just added another movie on Movie Connect and as the few others I’d previously sync’d with the Movie Collector software the cover did not sync.

Can you try adding it again, then sync on desktop see if it downloads? I see no reason why it wouldn’t downsync unless something broke the connection or something.

Yea, same result 4x. I tried adding via title and barcode but neither way ported a cover image into Movie Collector. BTW They look ok in the cloud.

What is the barcode?

Does it not work for any movie?

Wait… Did you perhaps change settings in the “cover” area of your desktop software?

In Movie Collector:
In the main screen, click “Tools > Options”. Then click on “Data and Images”.
Then click the button “Download settings for data and images” to change settings for which field-information should/should not be downloaded or updated.

Yeah this is not a bug in Movie Connect

It’s a setting in Movie Collector you’ve switched off in the past probably, see my comment above, that will be the fix. You have to have front covers set to download and set to “update if empty”.
