A rather strange anomaly: with no folders selected and albums sorted by date added, the first album in the list is dated Dec 18, followed by albums dated Dec 19 and earlier - so the older album is incorrectly sorted first. Everything else looks in correct order, and I can’t identify any differences in that first album that would make it sort out of order. Also the mobile iOS app does show the correct sort order, only the web app is screwy.
So the reason is something with timezones. I could get technical, but I won’t.
On CLZ Music Web:
Your best resolve here is to use sorting by Added Date and Time - that works better. Can you give that a try?
That works, although a bit cumbersome since I don’t normally display that field. How odd, does the system covert dates to UMT so the three albums at the top of the list were all treated as added on the same date? I’m curious why there are two different fields for date entered, why not have date/time as one field and truncate it for the date field so they sort the same?
Times are converted from our server date/time to your chosen timezone. For those two top albums, this is what it was sorting on:
That converted to YOUR timezone, so 8 hours “deducted” meaning the top one was suddenly added on the 18th.
This is something we’re discussing.
