Split Folders: Can't Merge?

I am having trouble merging two split folders and cannot figure out what I’m doing wrong! I followed the instructions on the forum:

  • Got to Edit, then Manage Pick Lists
  • I selected the folders that I wanted to merge (they were all Avengers, Vol. 1 folders) and clicked merge to
  • Now, I still have two folders, one with 31 books in it and the other with about 150 books, but repeating the process doesn’t merge them.

No idea how I’m doing this wrong!

This should be the correct procedure:

  1. Click menu Edit > Manage Pick Lists.
  2. Click the “Series List”.
  3. Perform a small search with a word that you know is in both the series names.
  4. Hold the CTRL button and select both series.
  5. Right click and use “Merge to:” and select one of the series.

If it doesn’t work what you could try is (as a test) edit them (both of them) and give them unique names… then merge them. Then rename the remaining item to what you wish it to be named.
