Submissions to core made in app for 19A and 19B.
19A: Back cover added
: Added Inker, Giovanni Ticci
: Removed Inker Sal Trapani
19B: Added Inker Giovanni Ticci
: Removed Inker Sal Trapani
Note: GCD lists Sal Trapani as “?” inker for this issue. Conventional wisdom of what we currently understand is that Giovanni Ticci inked Star Trek Gold Keys 3-5, 7-20, 35, 37, & 45. Sal Trapani can be traced to Star Trek Marvel Series #16 and #18. Although it is known that Trapani did work for Gold Key for a period, work on Trek comics cannot be confirmed.
Up to you, Rowdy, how you want to play with this one. I suppose you could list them both? Frankly, it would not surprise me if there was a bullpen of inkers, other creatives, working on all these different Gold Keys as they were coming off the production line. We all wish that better records had been kept or that there was some interest, back in the day while these creatives were alive, that they could have been interviewed.
Processed your submission, however I did not used the release date. You used 1967-01-01 for issue 19 somehow. Added both of the artists. Thank you for submitting, and please try to keep the reports for a series in one post only.

I haven’t done any date changes in any of the issues, but that is a great catch on your part because I completely missed it, and on other issue dates, too. I’m scrolling through the entire GK series right now and I’m seeing a whole pile where Jan 1967 date has been used, namely 18B, 19B, 20B, 23B, 25C, 28B, 29C, 31B, 31C, 33B…and it carries on right through to 61A.
Going forward (issues 20 onward), I’m going to double check all the dates and will add to the corrections if needed. To be sure we get the database as accurate as possible. I’m going to go back and check all the dates of all the issues we’ve already done, right up to up to #19 and will advise you.
I will be continuing all further Trek Western Publishing on this post thread only.

Submissions to core made in app for 20B.
Something strange with this one. Submission was made yesterday to add inker Giovanni Ticci to this one. I updated from core and all the changes submitted yesterday were showing except this one, Giovanni Ticci is not showing as inker on the creator page…however when I click on submit to core, it is showing. Not sure why that is. Did not resubmit.

Processed your submissions.
When processing the Plot description is left alone. However feel free to edit it in your local database.
And I appreciate the very detailed posts but please know this isn’t necessary as the same information is shown in your submissions.
Ok on the plot points.
If it’s all the same to you, I’m going to continue the detailed posts. It helps me keep track of everything I’ve done and it allows me to recheck to see if everything went through before I carry on with the next corrections.
And I do appreciate you replying with a quick note saying inputs have been done. That also helps me keep track of where I’m at.
I will continue to use just one post for each series and just let the tread grow.

ps. I could not use the backcover for #30. The image was submitted sideways.
Same goes for the backcover image for #31B. This came in upside down. Instead I used the backcover in your submissions for #31A.
Re #30 back cover.
You know, I was having problems with that cover. I’m using Google photoscan on my phone and every time I scanned that cover, it would automatically rotate it lengthwise so it was “right side up”. I had to manually rotate it to get the perspective correct.
Anyway, I’ve just rescanned it. It looks correct as I’m looking at it now (again), so I’ve resubmitted it.
Please try uploading it again.
If it does fails again, I’ll try one more time by simply photographing it and cropping it and submitting it again.
Otherwise, I’ll be open for suggestion.
