Apparently, there are Dark Horse versions of Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire covers A & B and the well known Kenner Toys Variants A & B titled Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire - Special Edition The cover art is the same on both but the Kenner variant has an additional Star Wars logo under the Dark Horse logo and has the Kenner logo with the words: Star Wars Shadows of the Empire Special under the logo. I think the back covers are different too with the Kenner covers showing Star Wars toy sets.
Hi, these are already in Core as “Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire: Kenner Promo”. However I don’t think they should be given their own series. Can you confirm if the inside is the exact same as the regular edition?
I only have the Kenner Promo and it is sealed in the Kenner Toy packaging, so I can’t compare the interiors. The “non” Kenner promo’s are for sale on ebay Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire Kenner Special 1 & 2 US And UK Versions | eBay and Pardon Our Interruption... Both are located in Europe. These non Kenner variants may be very hard to obtain.
