I woke up to a weird inconsistency and I don’t know what to do about it.
So I keep a spreadsheet of comics as I order them and one part of it is set up for me to enter the statistics results to keep a monthly check of how many, what I paid, etc and it’s been interesting keeping track of it like this over time. I usually enter them in CLZ as soon as they ship and then change the status from On Order to In My Collection when they get here. Yesterday I ran a typical update that moved the value slightly but nothing else - as expected.
I checked it again this morning but things no longer match. Did I enter a number wrong yesterday? I pull up the statistics and my total number of comics is down by 21 as well as all the dollar values - the total cover price, paid, and value. I tried to track down what went missing so I could re-enter them. But nothing I entered in the last 2 months is missing. So I checked the whole count in excel with the whole count in CLZ and there aren’t any missing in the CLZ collection. They’re just not being counted in the statistics!
My problem is I have no idea what’s not being counted in the statistics or how to find out.
I guess I’m mostly screaming into the void, but is there some way I can tell which entries are or are not counted in the “Statistics”? I have noticed before that entries with no cover price or purchase price or value are sometimes not included and I’ve made sure nothing in the collection has a zero or empty dollar amount. Is there something else that would exclude an entry from being counted in the statistics? What am I missing about the statistics?
The bottom line math here is that I have 1743 unique entries + 119 multiples - 12 on order/wishlist entries = 1850 that should be counted in statistics but when I open the statistics, only 1829 are counted. The number of books I entered last month matches my excel sheet. The number of books this month is low by 21 but they’re all there in the collection in CLZ just not the statistics page.
Also, is there some way to make the number of comics reflect the actual number and not just the number of unique entries?
