Ok starting to think it is time to move from the Desktop software to the Web Based software. I have been using the desktop software for ages and love it. But it is no longer being updated.
I am not a super tech savvy person but do have general computer skills. But I have never used web based software before (at least that I am aware). So I have like a million questions.
I assume there would no longer be a copy of any files on my computer, including cover images?
Does it download anything to my computer, or would I have to bookmark a website in my browser that then goes to my collection
Does it work better in Chrome or Edge. Those are the two browser I have. Oh wait also use safari on my phone, I guess I would be able to use the web software there too?
Can I customize what fields it gets data from the core like I can in the desktop software.
is there already a thread somewhere that this is all talked about
I assume there would no longer be a copy of any files on my computer, including cover images?
That is correct. Nothing will be on your local computer anymore, no software, no database, no images.
Does it download anything to my computer, or would I have to bookmark a website in my browser that then goes to my collection
Nothing is downloaded or installed on your computer.
CLZ Comics Web is basically a website you visit with your browser and log in to.
You can indeed bookmark it for easy access.

I would recommend Chrome, but both will work fine.
Oh wait also use safari on my phone, I guess I would be able to use the web software there too?
Yes, you can, but on your phone, I would recommend to use the CLZ Comics mobile app instead.
