I am getting prepared to do the switch. I am very nervous that my data will get messed up. I am always synched to the cloud site. My concern is that I have fields set to not download from core and others set to download but do not update from core. So is the web software going to synch all the data and auto update the fields before I get a chance to go into the settings and set what i want downloaded? Does this question make sense or am i’m needlessly worrying. I downloaded the trial version but have not opened it because I fear it will 1) synch all the data to the web from cloud 2) change data from the core for fields I use differently 3) synch that back to the cloud 4) then when I open desk top the cloud will synch all those new changes to my desk top even though I dont want them.

If you are talking about pressing that “Switch me over” button in your CLZ Account page that only switches over your subscription - it does nothing with your data!
This right here is all you need.
The Web version does not sync, it just shows the data you already have synced to the cloud site.
And the Web version allows you to make adds/edits to that data.
Opening the web version will never “automatically replace any data”.
And yes: you can go into settings in the web version and just change the add/update settings as you like.
I recommend to just go to app.clz.com/comics and log in and… begin using it
