I am using update values/update from core to trigger changes to test this for you
The timeout and failure are happening only on the sync screen i.e. update from core & update values run & finish correctly

@SGrispos we checked a couple of your last modified comics, and we noticed some weird tabs/spaces in your plot/description of the comic. Do you modify this field from time to time, or leave it alone, always/usually?
@CLZ_AJ no i never modify this field, to my knowledge i have entered something in the plot only regarding 2 issues that i have submitted myself i.e. the Giant Size Fascists comics which is a Greek edition and was not in core.

@SGrispos , we’re still investigating, with even more logging switched on now! Can you please try to reproduce the problem again today, and let me know which time you got the timeout if it happens again? Thank you!
@CLZ_AJ i just did an update now (3.23 EET) and it went through with no problem (no timeout).
I’ll try later today & let you know if it happens again.

@SGrispos did you have any sync fails over the weekend? (Did you sync at all?)
@CLZ_AJ hi, i did a couple of syncs in the weekend (on wifi, on mobile data to test both) & they went through with no problem. Also, a big sync with lots of values went through this morning with no problem also.
However, one final sync i did just before logging in to reply (18.45 EET, Greece) came up with the usual timeout message.

@SGrispos another bunch of fixes have gone live. Let me know if you can try syncing again and if you experience any time-outs - or if you don’t experience them, of course

Just did a small update which went by with no issue.

Good to hear that. I think we may have fixed the bug then… but we’ll be here if it does come back
