Tags for new movies

Hello everyone, new user here switching over from DVD Profiler.

I have a problem with tags. When I added the first movie, I also added five tags to it. Now whenever I add a new movie, that movie automatically gains those same five tags as opposed to no tags. I have to manually remove them. I have a selection of few thousand titles so added manual work is not exactly desirable.

I’ve already removed every tag from that first movie and removed all the previously used tags via “manage tags”. Still, those same five tags pop up for each and every movie I add. Do I have to delete everything and start from scratch or is there anything that can be done to this behaviour?

Try clicking on the menu button (the three lines or ‘hamburger’ top left) then select Prefill Settings and see what is there.

Until you have confidence with the product I would suggest that you check the box ‘Always show this screen’.

For some reason those five tags were there in the prefill settings. Clearing that solved this problem.
