The only issue thats linked to the core is listed as a 2nd print. Im almost certain that there was not a 2nd printing of this. This is kind of like a trade because it reprints issues 1 & 2. See below for scans of the front and back covers.
I think you are correct. The 2nd printing wording has been removed.
