Just switched from Collector to Web, brought a user field over in the Book Conditon field and set up custom field Science Fiction Book Club. Did a Tranfer and checked Clear Source Field after Transfer. It transfered OK but did not clear the source field.
Which field did it not clear? Was that a custom field that it did not clear after the transfer?
(you can just go into Custom Fields and remove a custom field you don’t use anymore, that should work too, as a workaround)
It was the ‘Book Condition’ field. I there some way to just clear it with having to go to each record?
Figured it out, selected multiple books and edit and then selected the field and didn’t enter anything in it. Still doesn’t explain why “Clear Source Field” didn’t work.
So for my understanding, you went from Book Condition field to another field? And used “Clear source field” to clear the standard Book Condition Field that comes with the Web-app?

I just tested this, transfering from Book Condition to “Dust Jacket Condition” and checking the box to clear out the source field, but it did clear for me.
Is there a way you could test this again (as a test) with a couple of books to see if you can still reproduce the problem?
