I have many custom key notations that I erased once (arg!) so was wondering is there a setting that will add new key info and add it to what I have already?
Thanks

Sure, in the Update Key Info screen, set the setting for “Allow replace/clear” to NO.
That way, it will never overwrite or clear existing info.
Please note that that also means you will never get corrections or updates either.
Yes thanks. That’s what I have set now. I was hoping for a new option. Keep my entries and allow updates. Instead of replacing “keep and add”.
How would that work? I mean, then the app would have to know the difference between data that originally came from Core and data that you entered or modified. And it doesn’t.
The only thing I can think of is have a new “custom” key. Then it could be updated from core and those custom ones could be left alone. Unfortunately I would have to go through and change all my added ones to the new custom key. Which would be difficult. It’s been a long time since I have done a “replace” or “replace and clear” If that produced a list at least I could see what was changing.
I guess from now on any changes I’ll just add as a “tag”.
I definitely don’t know all the ins and outs of coding. Just an issue I have been trying to figure out.
