Is there a way to update covers, like when we update from core?
When we update from core there is nosection for covers.
I’m afraid there is not. You can, if you need a fresh cover for a comic, edit the comic, remove the cover, save it, then use Update from Core.
Replacing “all covers” with update from core would mean all front covers would redownload, all the time. So that is probably not a good idea!

Could you describe the exact situation for me where you would need this exactly? Just seeing if we might be able to create an idea for the app for this.
I forgot which series i was looking at, but the covers i had on some of the issues were different then what was in the database. So i deleted all covers and updated.
The covers are similar, but there might be small changes in how they look.
For example a trade dress cover looking more virgin like and then when it comes out it has it trade dress markings.

Same question was about to be posted by me, so its good to see someone else had theis question very recently.
I still had a black and white Preview Image for Witchblade Vol 3 #3.
There isnt a user friendly way to update that to the final uploaded cover. Yes I eventually stumbled across that I could delete the cover, then “update from core” to download the correct cover but it would be much handier (and more user friendly) to have a single “update cover from core” button under the Action menu.
NB. understand that you wouldn’t want this available as a bulk function as it would put pressure on system. but as an option on an individual issue it would be extremely helpful.

A single button could definitely happen, but I guarantee that within 2 hours of releas we’d have 10 emails asking if it could be done in bulk 
+ you would have to “know” that we have a new cover for you in Core (which you also have to know now, before you do the long workaround).
The best solution would be that Core “knows” it has a new cover for you, and it would automatically select comics ripe for updating their cover! But that will take a bit more thought/planning/and figuring out what to do for covers already in your database before we launch such an update! I’ve put this on the ideas list.

it certainly would be handy for those using the ability at add pre-ordered comics
as an example, from my October Comics, I can obviously tell that my Flash, Green Lantern and Green Arrow books still dont have the Actual cover, they only have the solicited cover.
but there are a lot that could have had cover barcodes or other cover dress that I dont know about.
Maybe a preset function where you can choose to update cover when it is transferred from pre-order list to collection?
