I’ve been tasked with organizing and implementing a small school library. Is it possible to use CLZ in that aspect? There will be close to 50 or 60 teachers who would like access to be able to check out books.
It’s important to know that CLZ Books Web aimed at the home user. So one person (or a family’s library), with his, her and/or the kid’s book collection.
Our software is not aimed or designed for schools, colleges, hospitals or church/business libraries. You can of course use the software but you will very likely run into issues and feature requests aimed towards your specific “multi-user library” needs further down the road.
Our software is cheaper than actual “school” library software, but I wanted to let you know that if you’re looking for an extensive library loan tool, you will very likely run into trouble: our software does not send reminder emails to “late loans”, nor can you check “per loanee” what someone has loaned, or print a list of current outstanding loans. These things come to mind when I think of features that for instance schools have run into using our “home” software for their “school” library.
