Use custom fields only in a specific collection

Hi.

I’ve used CLZ movies for Windows since a few years. I think with the new custom fields IT should bei fine for me to switch to CLZ movies web.

I’m sorting some TV series a different way and I think IT would working fine for me, when I will able to use a custom field only for a specific collection instead of having it in the favorite view in all collections.

Ist there a way to add such a functionality in an upcoming release?

We’re currently not planning to have different Custom Fields per Collection, sorry.

As for getting your Custom Fields from Windows to Web…
There is a procedure for that, using the XML from the Movie Collector software. This tool IS ready, but not tested yet.

The procedure is a one time export from Movie Collector to CLZ Comics Web - no syncing. So it’s aimed for users who are planning to trade in their Movie Collector license to move completely to CLZ Movies Web.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I found now a way with a combination of use some informations in a Series field together with some customs fields.

So overall the Web version is now usable and I’ll already switched over from Windows to Web.
