Is it possible to search by this field? I wanted to set up tags for some of my more rare ratio variants like 1:200, 1:100, and 1:50. Searching this field for those keywords would help shortcut it!

I’m afraid not, Variant Description is not part of the searchable fields.

However, this field is… a strange one. Now I’m not sure if you use CLZ Comics Mobile as well?

If you do, you can actually “folder group” on Variant Description - and then use the little search box at the top to filter down to 1:200.. it might help a bit?

Just moved from the Desktop to the web software. This is odd that i can no longer filter or create a folder for variant description. Like how can i see how many Mark Jeweler variants I have vs, Newstand? I dont want to create a tag for something that there is already a field for.

Variant Description is currently not a field you can foldergroup on on CLZ Web, as we made it into a “text” field there - we do agree that a pick list for this would be nicer, and that is on our feature request list to introduce for Web. My apologies for this inconvenience.

Currently you can group on Variant Description using the mobile app.
