Would it be possible to add a a button or a tab when viewing your own collection to sort out and Only see non-variant covers. Similar to how you can filter out your own books and non-owned books when adding from core.
We have been thinking about something like that, similar to the NCBD tool, where the different variants of an issue are “stacked”.
Would that work for you?
I mean, if for a particular issue you ONLY own a variant, say variant F, you DO want it to show up, right?
Stacked sounds interesting. But my thought is for someone who wants to make sure the have a complete run of the stand issues, along with variants. So a button to removed the variants from view to see what is missing from the standard issues.

Personally, I now only get a variant that isnt cover A if I really, really really cant find a cover A.
but in my opinion this should be a three method toggle.

Only the one true issue A.
This way I think you cover all types of Collectorzers
