I have noticed on several occasions when looking for books by a certain author they do not show up on my list. In some cases the authors name is sorted by the first name rather than the last or some listings show a middle initial. It does not let me edit the author or I have not figured out how to do that so I end up linking the various spellings so I get a complete list. Is there another way of doing this so that the authors name is consistently entered?
Where are you trying this exactly? Modifying/merging authors is possible in CLZ Books, Book Connect and Book Collector through “Manage Pick Lists” - that is likely the solution here.
