When adding a comic can you turn off the 'this comic exists' confirmation dialog?

When adding a comic that already exists in my collection a confirmation dialog pops up saying: ‘ already exists in your database. Would you like to add it again?’ I add duplicates a lot so it’d be much more efficient to disable this confirmation but I looked around and can’t seem to find a way.

I’m hoping I missed it otherwise I should turn this into a feature request.

No that is not possible I’m afraid. We have this on our list as feature request already though!

Thanks, good that it’s on your radar. I’ll add a couple more points:

  • There’s a similar dialog if you have the issue in Collection Status To Sell, you are asked if you want to convert the Collection Status to In Collection. So you have to click No to add the issue then you will be presented with the ‘already exists’ dialog where you have to click yes. So in this case you have to click two dialog boxes to add the issue. If you are adding a batch of 10 issues you will have to click 20 dialog boxes to add them all.

  • If it’s difficult to turn off the dialog entirely a step forward would be to have an ‘apply to all’ checkbox so if you’re adding multiple issues in a batch you only have to answer the confirmation dialog once instead of having it pop up 10 times for 10 issues.
