In CLZ Movies Web and CLZ Books Web I frequently use the “Submit to Core”-option to make corrections and contributions to improve the data in your core database. However, I don’t see this option in CLZ Music Web. Why not?
To submit to Core we need a CDID from the user (which can only be obtained through scanning the actual disc which you can not do in CLZ Web).
Recommendation:
Don’t worry about submitting, just make the album right in your collection and it will stay that way, and all is good for you, which is the most important thing here.
You can also submit fixes on Discogs.com as we use that as a source as well, so fixes there will eventually make it into our systems.
Clear. Thank you for your reply. The CD/ID is obviously a thing from the past. I would have expected that instead you would be using the barcode or catalog number as a unique identifier.
Having my own database in CLZ Music Web is one of the unique selling points of your software. That’s why I like your software so much. Keep up the good work!
