Maybe this isn’t the place to ask, but is there a random selection option for Movie Connect?

There currently isn’t a “random” button in Movie Connect, but I’ve added it to the ideas list. We do have a random button in CLZ Movies mobile app, and you can also shake your phone to select a random movie there. I do think it would be a cool addon for Movie Connect, so > on the ideas list now

Where is the button in the app?
I Just tried the “Shake Your iPhone” deal. Cool beans man, love it. I wish they had something like it in Movie Collectorz.
In the CLZ Movies mobile app:
- Tap on a movie to see its details.
- The random button is top left (the 2 arrows icon, which is usually used as a “shuffle” button for music players). Tap it to select a different random movie.
Your wish has been fulfilled.
In the Windows software, choosing a random movie is done by hitting CTRL+R on your keyboard.

Thank you. I could not find because I use the iPad app. Do you know where it is on the iPad?
It’s not available on iPad, only “shake-to-shuffle” will work there (shake your iPad to select a random movie).

Can we put in a request for the button in the web app and the iPad app. Perhaps my arm (or brain) is broken, because I cannot get the shake to work consistently.
Random button for Movie Connect is on the ideas list. For iPad I’m not sure, perhaps if we introduce some sort of menu bar above the movie details, and put more buttons there. In any case I’ve taken note of your request.

I’m sorry, I do not have a list of shortcuts for you. You can just look in the menus at the top for a couple, they should be listed in the menus. Random is also one that is in the menus, showing CTRL+R as shortcut.
